Yoga is all about experiencing, sharing and being love. From the 8 Limbs to the 5 koshas, the practice of yoga is designed to move us towards a state of joyful, blissful love. Don't believe me? Ask Patanjali.

Patanjali, a great sage writing 2,000 years ago, wrote the definitive text on yoga, The Yoga Sutras. In the Yoga Sutras, Patanjali explains what yoga is, why we do it and what happens when when we do (and when we don't!).

He offers timeless insights into the reasons why human beings suffer and evergreen solutions for how to end that suffering. He offers a step by step guide to letting go of behaviours and thoughts that cause pain and how to cultivate habits that to make us feel at peace with ourselves and the world.

When you read Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, the purpose of yoga becomes clear. The reason we do all that stretching, breathing and meditating - is to know and be love. That's what yoga promises - joyful, blissful love.
